Youth Summer Day-Camp
Join us for our annual Kids Summer Camp in Athol, Idaho, where kids will explore scenic trails on horseback, learn horsemanship skills, and bond with new friends in the beautiful outdoors. This adventure is perfect for nature-loving youngsters who crave excitement and outdoor fun. All levels of horse-riding experience are welcome!
Please note: this day camp has two times each day: 10am-1pm or 2pm to 5pm. These are NOT overnight camps.
What's Included:
Guided horseback riding: Embark on trail rides through breathtaking landscapes, led by experienced and friendly wranglers. Learn basic trail riding techniques, gain confidence in the saddle, and discover the joy of connecting with your assigned four-legged companion.
Horse care masterclass: Learn the essentials of properly tacking up and down your horse, ensuring their comfort and safety. You'll also discover the secrets to keeping your equine friend happy and healthy as we learn about horse anatomy and essential grooming skills.
Make new friends and have fun! Bond with fellow horse lovers, and create lasting memories that will have you neighing for more!
Educational activities: Learn about horse communication and bonding, working directly with horses and wranglers for an educational opportunity only achieved through this hands-on outdoor experience.
Nature exploration: Ride through forests, discover hidden streams, and learn about the area's diverse plant and animal life.
Safe and supervised environment: Our experienced staff is dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for all. Kids will also learn about horse and riding safety so everyone knows how to have good, safe fun.

Ages: 8-18 years old
Price: $150 for a day or $225 for both days. Day two is only accessible to those who sign up for both days. If you purchase a single-day pass, then your rider will attend the first day only of the session date you choose below.
