Intro to Trail Rides Class, ALL ages! (without scheduling)
Join our Intro to Trail class! This educational opportunity will guide riders to learn how to be safe around horses and ride them in an outdoor setting. Learn about on-ground horse handling and good horsemanship, and practice basic riding skills to keep you and your horses safe on the trail. This class is open to adults and children.
Winter Hours: Wednesdays at 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm (at Farragut State Park only). CHOOSE YOUR DATE/TIME BELOW

Some tips and rules for riding with CCO:
Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes with a heel for your ride, riding boots are preferred but not necessary.
Bring or wear appropriate layers for the weather and the season.
If you have any medical conditions such as bee allergies or asthma, please bring your EpiPen or inhaler.
Alert your guide if you have any medical conditions that we should be aware of.
No expectant mothers.
No purses or cameras with straps over the body, please leave them at home or in your car.
We provide a mounting block if you need one.
Riders must have enough strength to mount their horse by themselves.
Please arrive at the designated check-in area no later than 15 minutes before your scheduled ride time.
Riding double is not permitted.
No smoking or vaping in the staging area or while riding horses.
No alcohol, drugs, or riding under the influence.
We reserve the right to refuse a horseback ride to anyone who we feel is under the influence with no refund
Gratuity is not included in the price of your trail ride but is always appreciated. Our wrangler staff works very hard to ensure you and your group have a safe and enjoyable time.
